I was in the car when Dakota called me. We had just returned from our trip to Italy and I couldn’t wait to finally talk to her on the phone, what she had to say was not what I was expecting. She was pregnant. Right then and there, I started crying. They are tried for so long and overcome so much to get to this point and now Coleman and Dakota were going to have a baby! It was the best news.
Dakota’s mom had recently moved to the area and on her property is this beautiful trail that is surrounded by trees. I instantly knew that I wanted to photograph here and what a better way to use the location than to make it the spot where we documented their baby announcement!
Little baby Anderton coming December 2018! I couldn’t be more excited for two of the greatest people in my life.
