Thomas is basically my little brother and well, Maddy… she is the most perfect partner in life for him. I remember Thomas getting home from his mission and someone mentioning how this girl Maddy might be interested in him. He was shocked because Maddy “was gorgeous and well, dang.” How little he knew that in just a short time, that woman would become his wife.
Thomas showed up to my hotel before we headed for the Salt Lake City LDS Temple for their first look and bridal session. We sat down and talked about marriage, life and the amazing journey he was about to begin. I still get emotional even thinking about. This was a man that I had seen grow up and turn into one of the best, most confident people I know. When we got the temple, I saw him get nervous. He was about to turn around and see his forever, his everything and his always. I started crying while photographing that first look. The rest of their bridals were a dream, for one I finally got to meet the amazing woman who captured my dearest friends heart! You best believe I love Maddy and how wonderful she is! Seriously. No joke.
After the temple, we headed out to my new favorite place… The Bonneville Salt Flats. Holy. Stunning. The clouds perfectly broke so that we could get the last bit of the sunset and it did not disappoint. (I mean, take a look for yourself!)
The next day was a dream, I watched my dear friend (who had been there when I got married) now marry the love of his life. Our sweet bride, Maddy was absolutely stunning and the bridal glow that she had, well I knew that it would last for days even years. They were surrounded by friends and family alike that day from the temple in Salt Lake City to their sunset reception in Provo. It was a wedding for the books, once you scroll down… I think you’ll agree.
