When I look back on my life, there are very few moments that did not include Kiera. Being only a few months apart with moms that were more like sisters meant that we experienced most of life together. She was one of my first photoshoots (complete with selected coloring) and has continued to trust me to document her life over the years – which now includes her wonderful husband (who also grew up with us) and their sweetest little addition. I grew up visiting Southeast Idaho with Kiera and her family and while I now live here and she is on the West Coast – it was a very full circle moment to have them here this last week. Our babies playing together, catching up on old times… it was like watching what our mothers did when we were young.

Fall in Idaho is one of my favorite times of the year (and those fall colors are starting to peek through!) and taking some time just as the sun was setting to dcument this stage of life for them – well that made it even more perfect.
