When the groom’s dad steps in during the bridal party pictures, you know it is going to be a good time. Shaylyn and Matt’s wedding here in Idaho Falls, Idaho was absolutely beautiful even with the random rain storm that happened in between the ceremony and the reception.

One of my favorite things is being able to do a first look with my couples. For those who don’t know what a first look is: you take time before the wedding to have the groom see his bride for the first time. Shaylyn and Matt decided to have a first look the morning of their wedding day and it is truly touching. The look on Matt’s face honestly said it all. This was going to be his wife in just a few short hours! Still, now, I can feel the emotion that came from that moment.

Shaylyn and Matt were sealed in the LDS Idaho Falls Temple that afternoon and later that day, they danced the night away surrounded by friends and family. Cheers to these two lovebirds and the stunning wedding day that I had the honor of capturing.
