It is hard to describe how much we loved this day! Dogs, fly ties and fresh Maine oysters. Can life get any better? Yes, it can especially with our gorgeous couple Hannah and Will.

These two met on a blind date in 2013, set up by a mutual friend who was living with Hannah and working with Will. They are both from Maine and grew up 45 minutes apart, but didn’t meet until they moved out here!

Will proposed on the Snake River, the same river where they had their first date. He had planned a float and it was thundering and lightening when we got to the boat ramp. Being deathly afraid of lightening, Hannah tried everything she could to stall and Will couldn’t wait any longer. He got down on one knee right there at the boat ramp and proposed amid the thunder. Of course, the clouds cleared almost immediately, followed by a beautiful rainbow, and they floated after all.

Hannah and Will were married at the Moose Creek Ranch in Teton Valley, where they now call home. Since last year, Moose Creek Ranch has easily become one of our favorite venues as it is beautifully nestled between Idaho and Wyoming, truly giving us the best of both places and in the fall, oh my! The aspens were in full color and perfectly complimented the stunning palette of these wedding colors. Not only that but just a short car ride down the road led us to a beautiful stream and tucked away mountain trees surrounded by the prettiest of blossoms. It was a photographer’s dream! Being able to take these two away from the hustle and bustle of the wedding day and documenting these portraits easily made it my favorite part of the day.

Not only did we love being able to return to a venue that holds a dear place in our hearts, but we were also reunited with a past MSP Couple! Rachel and Patrick, whose own wedding was held in the same place in August of 2017. Rachel was one of the wedding planners for the day and Patrick was the one that actually performed the ceremony for Hannah and Will! We absolutely LOVE these group of people and it felt like a family reunion that day.

Fun Fact: one of the witness signatures on Hannah and Will’s marriage certificate is mine!

I cannot wait for you to take a look at this beautiful day and get to fall in love with Hannah and Will like we did. It was so hard to narrow down to just a few favorites but here they are! Enjoy!!
