Before photographing a wedding, I send out a questionnaire for my bride and groom to fill out. It includes simple things like locations, vendors and wedding day details. At the end of the questionnaire, I ask them to tell me the story of how they met, the proposal but also why they picked the place they were getting married. Rob and Catherine’s response has been one of my favorites.

“We absolutely love northwest Wyoming, and especially the Dubois area. We have had so many great adventures into the Wind Rivers and the Absarokas, and when we stepped foot onto the CM Ranch, it felt like coming home. We immediately felt so comfortable! Besides the natural beauty, the whole vibe of the ranch felt like a reflection of us. It’s funky but classic; offbeat but rustic, and incredibly special albeit off the beaten path.”
This wedding was truly a dream. From the start of the day, toasts were being made and memories created. It was an absolute joy to not just be the photographers but really feel like a part of the family. That is something we strive for with each of our couples.
One of my favorite things about Rob and Catherine’s wedding was how beautifully laid out everything was. From the mountain view ceremony to the sunset dinner, each moment was thoughtfully and wonderfully curated. Every detail symbolized their journey so far and the life that they were going to be creating after this day.
Looking through these pictures again has me reliving every moment and sharing them with each of you, that is the greatest joy!
